Criminal Trial–Identification of accused–Photo of convict ‘A’ was published in newspapers and circulated on social media–However, the witnesses who identified ‘A’ in the Court, was having occasion to meet him earlier either in relation to some work or otherwise in a chance meeting–Time duration for which the witnesses had been in the company of convict ‘A’ is also considerable–It cannot be said that the witnesses were not knowing him–Evidence of identification cannot be thrown out.
