Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Secs. 190(1)(a) & 156(3)–Distinction between the applications filed under both provisions–When an applicant desires that the Magistrate should take action against the persons then it is a complaint but when no action is to be taken by the Magistrate and the intention is for some other kind of action, such as to the police, then it will not amount to a complaint.
