Rajasthan Municipalities (Disposal of Urban Land) Rules, 1974–Rule 23–Allotment made in breach of the provisions–Set aside by Single Bench–Rule 23 provides that a strip of land shall mean a piece of land adjoining an existing plot which cannot be put to independent use and which shall in no case exceed 150 squire yards in area–There could be no relaxation of rules by the Municipal Corporation, merely because it had passed the resolution––Power of relaxation is in State Govt.–In the instant case, the measurement of land was 190 square yards–Held, no apparent error is found for justifying the review of the earlier judgment.
