Code of Civil Procedure, 1908–Order 23, Rule 3–Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987–Sec. 21–Decree passed by the Lok Adalat on the basis of compromise–Set aside by High Court–Justification–Suit for partition–Lok Adalat had observed that after accepting the huge sums of money in terms of compromise, the plaintiff nos. 4 to 6 could not have rescinded from the terms thereof–It is not the case of plaintiff nos. 4 to 6 that they returned the money in whole or in part–Contents of compromise were admitted by them before the Lok Adalat to be true and correct–If the signatures were obtained by fraud, they ought to have returned the amount–High Court did not consider these facts in the context of setting aside the award–No conclusive proof of fraud–Held, High Court could not have set aside the compromise decree.
