Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973–Sec. 228–Framing of charge–Relevant consideration–Held, at this stage, Court is prima facie to consider whether there are sufficient grounds for proceeding against the accused–Appreciation of evidence and arrival on the conclusion that the material produced by the prosecution is sufficient or not for convicting the accused, is not required–If there are grounds for prima facie believing that the accused has committed the offence, charge can be framed.
