Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994–Sec. 97–Cancellation of patta in revision–Admitted fact that the petitioner is in possession of ancestral property for which he applied the patta–Patta was issued in favour of petitioner despite of objection of respondents–Pending partition suit also shows that the land is ancestral–Since the property in question is ancestral and the same has not been partitioned, the patta could not have been issued in favour of petitioner alone–Held, patta was rightly cancelled.
