Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947–Sec. 5(2)–Conviction–Prayer for reducing the sentence–Appellant is facing the trial since last 34 years and he is now aged of 78 years, suffering from heart ailment–He has undergone for one month and ten days and remained on bail through out for the last 34 years–No breach of conditions of the bail–Amount of bribe was Rs. 1,200/- and he suffered immense trauma, mental agony and anguish–Sentence reduced upto the period of already undergone.
