Specific Relief Act, 1963–Sec. 21(5)–Scope–No compensation shall be awarded unless the plaintiff has claimed such compensation in plaint–However, where the plaintiff has not claimed the compensation in the plaint, the Court can at any stage of the proceedings allow him to amend the plaint to seek compensation in lieu or in addition to specific performance on such terms as may be seen just.
