Rajasthan Municipalities (Disposal of Urban Land ) Rules, 1974–Cancellation of auction sale–Justification–Condition no. 4 of the e-auction stipulates that the right to reject or accept the bid must be taken within five working days from the date of auction–Such decision was taken beyond the prescribed period–Although the bid submitted by the petitioner was not accepted on the ground that it was allegedly much lower than the prevailing market price of the plot, the respondents themselves retained the same reserve price for the plot in question while issuing the fresh e-auction notice–The reply filed by the respondents does not indicate that any irregularity, fraud, illegality or collusion among bidders was noticed in the auction proceedings–Respondents are directed to make allotment.
