General Rules (Civil & Criminal) 2018–Order 20, Rule 33–In pursuance of the order of the Appellate Court, Trial Court marked the documents and put the date on all the previously marked documents–Again, appeal with contention that the documents were marked back-dated–Dismissal of the appeal with cost–Instant petition–Appellate Court had merely directed to ensure the compliance with the provisions of Order 20, Rule 33 by affixing signatures of the Presiding Officer and date on the documents already exhibited during the course of the trial–No direction was given to issue the notice to the parties or to carry out such compliance in their presence–The said direction was purely administrative and procedural in nature only to rectify a clerical omission, affecting the rights of the parties–Petitioner has failed to demonstrate any prejudice caused to him–Interference declined.
