Code of Civil Procedure, 1908–Order 7, Rule 14(3) or Order 8, Rule 1A(3)–Scope–Where the application for taking the documents on record in term of above provisions to the plaintiff or defendant is allowed subsequent to the evidence already recorded of the plaintiff, the opportunity of seeking option for rebuttal would be available and the plaintiff would have to be allowed to lead evidence in rebuttal in relation to the documents filed by the defendant subsequently and produced in evidence and at the same time, the defendant would be also entitled to cross-examine him in relation to the
documents filed subsequently.
