Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985–Standing Order No. 1/1989–All sub-Inspectors are not authorized and competent to effect search and seizure under the NDPS Act as it has been mentioned that only the sub-Inspectors who are posted as SHO, can search and seize the articles under the NDPS Act.
