Arms Act, 1959–Sec. 3/23–Probation of Offenders Act, 1958–Sec. 4–Conviction–Prayer for reducing the sentence–Even though there is the provision for a minimum sentence for the offence under the Arms Act, there is no restriction for granting the probation and the accused can be given the benefit–Incident occurred in the year 1994–Sentence deserves to be set aside subject to certain conditions.
