Stamp Act, 1899–Sec. 35(a)–Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1998–Sec. 39–Scope–Document which is not properly stamped shall not be admitted in evidence–However, if the insufficient stamp defect is removed on payment of proper stamp duty and penalty thereon, such a document shall be admitted in evidence–If a party is ready to pay such a duty and penalty which is found to be deficient the document has to be admitted in evidence after depositing there of.
