Land Acquisition Act, 1894–Sec. 4–Acquisition of land–Landowner was dispossessed prior to issuance of the preliminary notification u/s. 4(1) of the Act–Landowner can recover the possession by taking appropriate legal proceedings–If the possession is not recovered, he would be entitled to rent or damage for use and occupation.
