Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 Sec. 439(2)–Penal Code, 1860–Secs. 302/34, 120-B & 364/34–Bail–cancelled by High Court–Plea of appellants that considerations for cancellation of bail are different from the consideration of granting bail–Plea negatived–If there are very serious allegations against the accused, the bail may be cancelled even if the accused has not misused the bail granted to him–In the instant case allegations were levelled against some police officers and staff that they were being engaged by someone to kill a person as contact killer–Held, High Court was quite right in cancelling the bail.
